E-mail marketing is a huge form of direct marketing.  It is highly targeted and extremely customizable. I have some tips(9) to be successful in the e-mail marketing world. The first one would be to develop a well thought out marketing plan. Doing this gets you started and on the way! Secondly, you want to start to expand your database. Ask anyone, anywhere if you can add them to your messaging list. You can do this through social media, face to face, at events, at work, or on other places on the internet. The next tip is to sign up a web-e-mail service. This is very important as if these are violated, they can lead to serious consequences like big fines or even jail time. Make sure to always allow people to be able to unsubscribe from your messaging service. The next tip is to create an e-newsletter, in order to make messages more virtually appealing and more useful and informative. The next one is to make your subject line stand out. Be very specific and direct when putting this together. Making it personable is the next tip after. The tip going from there is to provide a call for action, essentially by attracting potentially customers or clients through your landing page.
